MILWAUKEE (June 1, 2015) - Summerfest is aligning with Shazam, one of the world’s most popular music-based apps, to offer yet another way to get in the gate for FREE. For the first time, Summerfest TV commercials will become interactive and reward music fans who Shazam the commercial.

Fans are encouraged to download the free Shazam App and the watch for :30 second and :15 second Summerfest TV commercials on network affiliates, cable and online, now – June 23 in Southeast Wisconsin, including Green Bay and Madison markets.  When fans Shazam the Summerfest TV commercial the Shazam App will instantly download a FREE Weekday Admission E-ticket ($12 value), valid for admission any weekday during Summerfest 2015, Tuesday through Friday, Noon to 4:00 p.m. The downloadable E-ticket can be scanned at the gate directly from an IOS or Android device. Limit one ticket per person.  The promotion expires at 11:59 pm on June 23. 

This special offer is just another way Summerfest is creating fun and innovative ways to connect directly with music lovers and festival-goers in general, most of whom have adopted heavy mobile phone usage as a part an integral part of their lifestyle.
