You'll be hearing a lot more about Kane Brown, the country singer-songwriter who gained attention for his music through the power of social media. After auditions for American Idol and X-Factor, Brown took to Facebook with covers of popular country songs and gained over a million followers after his cover of a George Strait song went viral. He released his first EP, Closer, in 2015 after raising funds on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. The latest EP, Chapter 1, came out in March 2016.

The Sound:

Kane Brown has a voice that sounds wise beyond his 22 years. "Wide Open" showcases a deep, rich sound that classic country fans will flock to. "Used to Love You Sober" focuses on heartbreak but still maintains a catchy chorus that you'll be humming to yourself later. Despite his success with cover songs, Brown proves that he has what it takes to stand alone with his original material.

Why You Should Go:

With his laid back stage presence, charm and strong vocals, Kane Brown has a recipe for success. His passion shows through in every live performance and you may even be treated to a few unique cover songs as he's been known to tackles songs from Justin Bieber to George Strait!
