This week on Fest Finds, we're featuring country darling and singer/songwriter Cam. Before breaking out on her own, Cam started her career as a songwriter for artists including Miley Cyrus. Her most recent album, Untamed, was released in December 2015 and features her wildly successful and Grammy-nominated song "Burning House."

The Sound:

With a blend of country, pop and soul, Cam stays true to her country roots but brings a more modern sound to her vocal influences of Patsy Cline and Bonnie Raitt. There's the perfect amount of sass in her twangy "Country Ain't Never Been Pretty" while "Hungover On Heartache" has a pop vibe reminscent of early Taylor Swift. Cam has the type of dynamic voice that manages to sound both sweet and powerful all in one.

Why You Should Go:

If you happened to catch her performance at the 2016 ACM Awards, you know she's got a voice that leaves you with goosebumps. Cam packs the emotional punch into every song and it translates on the stage. Her relatable lyrics and catchy beats will have you singing and stomping along. You can experience it for yourself at Summerfest on July 9!

If you like Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum or The Band Perry, check out Cam.
